The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill two (2) Analyst I positions in the Intake and Disposition Bureau in the Peace Officer Standards Accountability Division.

POST may consider hiring at the Analyst II level.

Working Conditions

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting.

Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position. 

This position is Hybrid and may be eligible for telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Special Requirements

A fingerprint check is required.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is a narrative writing that individually answers each of the questions below. The responses must not exceed two pages in length, single spaced, using 12-point Arial font with your name and JC number in the upper left-hand corner. Re-state each question preceding your response. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely. Resumes, letters, cover letters, and/or other documents will not take the place of an SOQ. Applications received without the SOQ will not be considered for this position.
