Title: Lead Data Engineer
Location: Pennington, NJ
Employment Type: W2
Duration: 12-month contract
The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, owning data orchestration, integration, automation, and large-scale architecture rollouts across multiple scrum teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multiple scrum teams delivering enterprise data solutions
Design and optimize data pipelines, orchestration, and integration
Hands-on development using Python and SQL/PL-SQL
Manage data prep tools (Alteryx, RapidMiner, Tableau Prep)
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
Mentor teams on best practices and code quality
Required Skills:
Data orchestration & ETL optimization
Airflow or similar batch processing tools
OpenShift / containerized deployments
