Based in Mokena, Ill., we are a full-service catering company backed by more than 60 years of experience. At Polonia Catering & Market, we strive to provide our clients with the highest quality food and impeccable service. Requirements The line cook will prepare dishes according to the chef’s specifications. The line cook must ensure consistency in the portioning and preparation of all food, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen according to health department and OSHA standards. We’re looking for an energetic, self-motivated and reliable individual with at least 2 years of experience working in a high volume kitchen. A culinary degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have: * A strong work ethic * Excellent decision-making skills * Impeccable time management skills * Superb organizational skills * Must be able to work weekends and holidays Compensation is commensurate with experience.
