Job Title: Mail ClerkJob Description
Join our payroll department as a Mail Clerk, where you will collaborate with another clerk to efficiently manage incoming mail. Your role will involve opening, sorting, badging, and scanning mail to assist the payroll team in processing it effectively. You will also be responsible for labeling envelopes, matching checks to labels, and sealing envelopes. Once you demonstrate proficiency, you may have the opportunity to assist in other areas such as data entry and keying, as well as help track down garnishment documents when additional information is needed.
Responsibilities
Open, sort, badge, and scan incoming mail for payroll processing.
Label envelopes, match checks to labels, and seal envelopes.
Assist with data entry and keying tasks as needed.
Track down garnishment documents and complete required information for processing.
Essential Skills
Experience in a mailroom environment, including filing, sorting, and scanning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
High School Diploma required.
Previous data entry/keying experience.
Ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
Work alongside another clerk in a mailroom setting. A professional environment where attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Collierville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
