Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to the development and integration of mechanical and electro/mechanical products for advanced APM platform vehicles and related maintenance vehicles, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing), manage digital mock-ups and design reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives—and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Performing 3D modeling, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments and established processes. ,
Modeling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems, components, and compartments in Digital Mock-Up. ,
Conducting detailed design on internal subsystems. ,
Verifying the consistency of the digital mock-up (e.g., no clashes) and compliance with requirements such as allocated volumes, weight, and interfaces. ,
Preparing and documenting Train Design (TD) Design Reviews and supporting Project Design Gates. ,
Updating Digital Mock-Up to incorporate approved Change Requests. ,
Checking the quality of CADs and subcontractors' designs. ,
Performing stack-up analysis. ,
Realizing and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Material. ,
Planning and piloting TD Mechanical activities for assigned zones, ensuring deliverables adhere to customer and project requirements."

5 years of experience or understanding of transportation-related mechanical engineering. ,
Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, or Catia V5. ,
Familiarity with MS Office tools. ,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with third parties (e.g., customers, sub-contractors). ,
Time management and multitasking skills. ,
Structured and organized with a hands-on approach. ,
Ability to analyze and implement change requests. ,
Knowledge of digital mock-up processes and tools. ,
English proficiency for reading, writing, and participating in technical meetings.
