Job Description
Medical Receptionist What You Must Have - High school graduate, college preferred
- At least one year general office experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Current State Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
- Excellent phone skills, computer skills, interpersonal and organizational skills

What You Will Do - Provide clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets; monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, typing, special projects, filing and copying.
- Facilitate the communications system which may include: mail distribution, pagers, phone system, memo's, answers incoming calls, documents and disseminates appropriate messages.
- Promote effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintain confidentiality.
- Competently handle multi-line phone system and demonstrate understanding of system features.
- Performance of other duties as required
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
