The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating MRI machines, ensuring patient comfort during scans, and coordinating with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. They will maintain a clean scanning facility, document procedures, and perform patient care tasks as needed. The role requires flexibility to work day and/or evening shifts for orientation, followed by solo weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform patient care tasks as needed.
- Perform All Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Two (2) Years' Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- GE or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to obtain ARRT certification after starting if not already certified.
- Must be flexible and work day and/or evenings in order to orientate.
Scheduling:
- Full-time for the first 2 weeks for orientation.
- Solo weekend shifts beginning 9/6-7, Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm.
