Step into a full-time, experienced role where your hands-on skill keeps a major food manufacturing operation running. As a Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll blend electrical and mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and improve complex production equipment across our large Frito-Lay facility.
You begin by reviewing assigned work in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), planning parts and documenting previous work. On the floor, you might troubleshoot a conveyor drive, rebuild a centrifugal or positive displacement pump, swap a gearbox, repair a control valve, or chase down a tricky fault in an AC/DC circuit. When a line goes down, you’ll read schematics, test with a Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, and megohmmeter, and quickly restore operation. You’ll also lend your expertise to newer techs, sharing best practices in industrial motor control and PLCs to reduce repeat issues.
Our manufacturing spaces are big and can be loud. Temperatures vary with the seasons due to limited climate control in certain areas. Work assignments change daily based on operational priorities.
Start with Frito-Lay and open doors across PepsiCo. We offer structured onboarding, ongoing training, and industry-leading pay and benefits starting day one—including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, and more. Before the in-person interview, candidates complete a hands-on electrical skills assessment. If you’re early in your career, explore our entry-level roles that align with your current experience.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
