METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL-Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County.

DSH-Metropolitan, Human Resources Department is accepting applications for Nurse Instructor, Permanent/Fulltime.  Working Title : Nurse Instructor-Nursing Education Department.

Under the direction of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN)/Nursing Education Director (NED) or designee, the Nurse Instructor will provide training and direction to nursing service staff and student professional nurses in a staff development and continuing education program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and conducting Nursing Orientation classes, conducting nursing skills training, instructing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes, performing emergency drill on the patient care units, etc.
