Job Description

We are a warm, busy family based in Coral Gables seeking a responsible and proactive part-time  nanny to support two teenage girls (13 and 15). We also have a friendly dog in the home, so must be comfortable with dogs as he is a huge part of our family.

The  role focuses on coordination, logistics, and heavy driving schedule. You will be splitting the monthly schedule with a full-time  nanny , so being a team player is essential.

Schedule & Availability

•     Part-time  position . Candidate must have the ability to work flexible hours.  Fluctuating schedule given 3 months in advance.

Guaranteed 80 hours a month (average 20 hours a week) with Saturdays and occasional Sundays required.

•     Typically morning school drop off and after school pickup and activities. Saturdays are typically the heaviest day

•     Sundays off in principle, but occasional Sundays may be required with advance notice

Key Responsibilities

•     School runs, activities, appointments, and social outings (driving required)

•     Keeping the girls’ Outlook calendar up to date (activities, school events, appointments, travel)

•     Packing and unpacking for trips, activities, and overnights

•     Running child-related errands (pharmacy, school supplies, returns, etc.)

•     Helping to organize the girls’ bedrooms, closets, and sports supplies 

•     Coordinating smoothly with the full-time  nanny and parents on schedules and priorities

•     Being comfortable with the family dog, who often comes along on school runs

Requirements

•     Strong experience working with children/teens; prior  nanny experience preferred

•     Clean driving record and confident, safe driver (we have a family car for you)

•     High level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism

•     Comfortable using Outlook for family calendar 

•     Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•     Excellent references from previous families or employers

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience. We will guarantee a minimum number of hours per month. Summer is a lighter schedule as the family is away from Miami, but minimum hours will still be guaranteed.
