Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Training Specialist to support the INTAS program. This role is integral in developing high-quality technical training for Australian military and civil customers. The ideal candidate will possess experience in government training requirements, strong technical experience in air traffic control or surveillance systems, and the ability to execute and coordinate training initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities - Design and develop military-compliant training materials, updating instructor guides, student manuals, job aids, and other content to meet applicable military standards and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to assess training needs, define learning outcomes, and customize solutions for specific platforms and user groups.
- Maintain and revise courseware for new functionality and parts, ensuring content reflects current standards through updates, version control, and configuration management.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver multi-component training projects by developing schedules, resource plans, and milestones, while managing cross-functional tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Conduct iterative reviews, running review sessions, collecting feedback, and refining materials based on results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and instructional issues during development and review phases, escalating risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications - BA/BS degree in engineering, instructional design, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- MA/MS degree in engineering, instructional design, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of direct experience in military, aerospace, or complex technology-based training systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
