Position Title: Travel Physical Therapist
Location: Orleans, MA
Job Type: Contract | Travel
Shift: Day
Hourly Pay: $55 – $60
Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,400
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Travel Physical Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Orleans, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate new patients, set measurable treatment goals, and establish individualized treatment programs
Administer diagnostic tests (muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability) to assess impairment and prognosis
Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions and re-evaluate/modify plans based on progress
Document care, education, and communication with patients, families, and other caregivers
Communicate effectively with physicians and allied health staff regarding progress and discharge planning
Instruct patients and families on home therapeutic procedures
Train and guide Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and affiliating students
Support departmental policies, quality initiatives, safety, and infection control standards
Maintain accurate records of patient activity and charges
Participate in professional growth, education programs, and team meetings
Provide service excellence consistent with Cape Cod Hospital’s CARES values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required (S18T):
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Clinical Specialist (S19T) – Additional Requirements:
Documentation of Specialist Certification
Serves as a clinical resource in an area of expertise
Assists management in planning and supervising the specialty area
