Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)

A Wound Care Nurse Practitioner is needed in Houston, TX

Salary and Benefits

• Annual salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
• Health insurance ($250 reimbursement per pay period)

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday schedule (Part-time roles available)
• Set up and oversee clinical management systems
• Serve as Office Manager and provide operational oversight
• See patients and deliver comprehensive wound care
• Help establish and support internal infrastructure and clinical support systems
• Perform wound assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Conduct advanced wound procedures and monitor healing progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and care
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes
• Utilize EMR: Kinnser / WellSky

Requirements

• Active and clear Texas Nurse Practitioner license (APRN)
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar preferred)
• Experience in wound management, home health, or hospice settings
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
