In this key role, you’ll oversee payroll functions, ensure full compliance with labor laws and union agreements, and support internal controls and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for all employees with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee payroll data management, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and deductions
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and union-specific payroll regulations, as well as internal policies and collective bargaining agreements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions, issue resolution, and policy clarification
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Partner with HR and finance teams to support compliance reporting, filings, and special projects
• Continuously evaluate and improve payroll procedures to drive efficiency and reduce risk

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years of payroll experience; experience managing union and/or multi-state payroll strongly preferred
• Proficiency in payroll platforms such as ADP, Paycom, or similar systems
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, wage regulations, and union contract interpretation
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of confidentiality
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
